These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Prism Proofreaders. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms.
1. Our Services
We provide proofreading and editing of documents prepared by you. This includes correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting and, where requested, suggestions to improve clarity and flow.
2. Academic Integrity
We do not create original content on your behalf or provide any service intended to breach academic integrity policies. You are responsible for making sure that using a proofreading service is permitted by your institution, and for the final content you submit.
3. Orders & Quotes
- Quotes are based on word count, turnaround time and the level of editing required.
- Work begins once your order details are confirmed and payment is received.
- Please provide any style guide, referencing style or specific instructions at the time of ordering.
4. Turnaround Times
We always aim to deliver on or before the agreed deadline. Delivery times start once payment and all required files have been received. Delays caused by missing information or late changes to your order may affect the delivery date.
5. Payments
Payment can be made by debit or credit card or bank transfer. Full payment is normally required before work begins, unless agreed otherwise by email.
6. Revisions
If you believe something within the original scope of your order has been missed, please let us know within 7 days of delivery and we will review and correct it free of charge.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we take great care with every document, we cannot guarantee a particular grade, acceptance or outcome. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order will apply.
